+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
1. INSTALLING DRIVERS FOR PCI VERSION OF CONTROLLER CARD
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- NOTE: PCI controller card supported on the following Microsoft Operating
    Systems: Win98, WinME, WinNT 4.0, Windows 2000, WinXP.

- NOTE: You must have administrative priveledges to install the software and
    drivers under Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.

    Under Windows NT 4.0, the PCI drivers are automatically installed.

	Under all other supported Windows Operating Systems (OS), install the PCI
	controller card into your PC and boot your computer. When Windows is done
	booting and you've logged in (if necessary), the OS's Plug & Play support
	will detect the controller card and prompt for the driver. Using the
	wizard provided, direct the wizard to search for the driver on your
	Control Software Installation CD, or browse to the location of the
	PCIStep.inf and PCIStep.sys files [located at the root of your Installation
	CD], and select the PCIStep.inf file. If the driver is installed properly,
	the card will be recognized as a 'spectraLIGHT / proLIGHT Controller Card'.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
2. CHANGES
    A. Install Changes
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- Installation updated to support installation of PCI device driver (for NT 4.0
   only).

- New sample file 'Domino.NC' installed.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    B. Setup Program Changes
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- Please note that the SETUP program can not be run while the BenchRouter
   application is running. If you attempt to run SETUP while the application
   is running, you will be prompted to close the application before running
   SETUP again.

- The Interface Card tab updated to include radop buttons to choose between a
   PCI and an ISA controller card (where available). This can be used in the
   event that you upgrade hardware or the installation program fails to select
   the correct driver for you.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    C. BenchRouter Changes
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- Added multi-monitor support to allow floating windows to be moved to any
    monitor (requires Win98, WinME, Win2000, WinXP).

- Added support for PCI driver.

- Updated all copyrights to intelitek, Inc.

- Default LMCTOOLS.INI modified to have all tool offsets set to zero.

- Deactivating the Jog Panel on the Simulation control no longer does an E-Stop.

- Added ability to alter the verification speed when Verifying an NC program.

- Added a Toolbar to the Verify window (contains controls for adjusting verify
    speed, view angle, etc.).

- Fixed bugs in Verify that caused a crash when RESET selected during verify.

- Added new flag to control -- 'Leave Outputs On'.
    This flag prevents automatically shutting off all 'auto-reset' outputs.
    This was done to address a request that GOTO doesn't turn off outputs.
	This flag is used by default for all 'Hidden' programs (GOTO,
	Set/Check Home, Insert/Remove/Change Tool).

- Fixed G31 bug. If the specified input condition was met to stop the motion,
    subsequent NC program operation was unpredictable.

- Default computational tolerance changed from 1e-5 to 3e-4. Fixed specific
    errors with cutter compensation and arcs.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
3. KNOWN PROBLEMS/NOT IMPLEMENTED (no particular order)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
- Large Fonts are not correctly handled. You should use select Small Fonts in
   your Display Settings for best results.

- The Solid Verify window occasionally shows up with unusual, pastel, colors.
   The colors can be restored by hiding and showing the window, or by
   docking/undocking it, or by selecting the Verify->Redraw command.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
4. USING WITH NT
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
    IMPORTANT!
    You must have Administrator Priviledges to install and configure the
	Interface Card Driver.

    You must install the software under NT before you can operate the machine
	under NT.

    For information on installing the PCI driver for the controller card, see
	Item 1 above.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
5. SPECIAL NOTES
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A. Recommended system

   We recommend at least a Pentium-90 system with at least 16 Megabytes of RAM
   for Windows 95 and at least 24 Megabytes for Windows NT.
   We recommend using a screen resolution of at least 800x600 at 256 colors.
   For a PCI controller card, you need to be using Windows 98 or later, or
   Windows NT 4.0 or later.

B. Upgrading previous installations of BenchRouter

   If you have a previous version of the BenchRouter software in its originally
   installed location, the software will detect this old version when you
   install the new version. If a previous version is detected, you will be
   prompted to choose to Update or Replace the current version.
   If you choose 'Update', none of your user data files will be modified, and
   only the application will be updated. If you choose 'Replace', the
   installation program will save a backup of your user data files and then
   perform a complete installation, upgrading the application and overwriting
   your previous data files (the backups will not be overwritten unless you
   'Replace' again).

C. Uninstalling BenchRouter

   Uninstalling BenchRouter will not delete any user files, nor will it delete any
   BenchRouter files that do not exist when first installed.
